It's official after trying and failing to get machinegunfunk, slumbilical, onthebeach and countless others too boring to name, I am officially switching to knotstoothick.tumblr.com.

"Big" blog news on the horizon. I'm ready to leave movable type and blogger templates behind. Tumblr has been clearly better for a while and I'm finna embrace it. Just need a suitable blog title (Dave Chappelle references are so 2007).

Today, a man got on the N train one stop before mine. His head was so wrapped in old floral scarves and a new-ish looking keffiyeh that only his eyes, a little forehead and the bridge of his nose were visible. In his right hand, he had a "spear" fashioned from a wooden broomstick handle that was sharpened to a point. In his left, he had a "shield" that looked like the top of a large circular wicker basket.

He walked down the middle of the train clanging his spear against the poles menacingly and snarling left and right, "Look at you. You're all scared. Scared!"

He kept trying to force eye contact, but no one was being compliant. Then he looked at me, saw that I was trying to stifle a laugh, and chuckled.

I went to Citibank today and, while I was at the ATM, "Money, Money, Money" was playing at a tasteful volume.
